For this blog post I basically had to do a blog post on what I would rather do and this is what I would do.

Little Red Riding Hood but with a twist

 

Once Upon a time there lived a disgusting Little girl called Purple Riding Hood.One day her Dad said to her go give some biscuits to your Grandma. She said “no” but after an hour of her dad trying to get her to go she finally went.So she started walking through the forest as she was walking she heard growling coming from the bushes so she started walking a bit faster but then she heard even louder growling so she started sprinting for her life through the gigantic tree trunks dodging all of the tree trunks. Until finally she came to her Grandma's house  and she said” Grandma I’m here” but no reply. Then she just walked in by herself.As she walked in out popped her Grandma “ hello dear” she said then little purple riding hood said”I have got some biscuits here for you.” Well that is very thoughtful of you” grandma said. 1 hour passed and  Little purple riding hood had to go so she said goodbye. She said to grandma that she is taking a shortcut because she felt like getting home quick. But her grandma said people have seen sightings of wolves around that place so don’t go. Ok she said I won’t go down the shortcut. But her grandma knew she would so  her grandma secretly followed little purple riding hood down the shortcut.  As she was going down the rocky footpath a Big Bad Wolf jumped out and said “ I’m actually very hungry so I am going to eat you”. “No please don’t I’m just a little girl” little purple riding hood said.

But the wolf tried to take one big chunk out of the little girl until her Grandma popped out and she had a gun in her hand and shot the wolf dead. After that Grandma walked Little Purple Riding Hood back and she got back safe and sound.

When they got back her dad asked grandma “WHAT WHY DO YOU HAVE A GUN IN YOUR HANDS” Ok sit down it’s a long story.

After they told the story the dad said next time you go to your grandmas I am coming with you so I know you are safe walking there. When the grandma got back to her little cottage she said “I am very hungry. I am going to eat the rest of those muffins. Grandma said to herself” Wow my back is a bit sore after because I haven't done that in ages”

The End

For writing we had to create a fairy tale story but with a twist.The fairy tale was Little Red Riding Hood but instead I did Little Purple Riding Hood. Have a read and enjoy

First time using Biteable!

 

Last week Mark taught us how to use biteable It was really fun to make. What I created was a biteable on how to comment on someones blog. I hope you like it.

Bears Facts

This week we found out our new story telling story. The story is Goldilocks and the 3 bears but with a twist. Also our teacher showed us this really cool thing for our digital learning it is blending the picture into the background. Then after we did that on our google drawing we wrote some facts about bears because of the story.

Mixed Fractions

 

This week we were learning about Mixed Fractions It's quite easy actally only when you know how to do them. Then today we just had to show our learning any way we wanted so I decided to do a screencastify.

Similes and Metaphors

 

Simile As sparkly as crystal clear diamonds shining in the night sky.

Simile As shiny like a dragon's fire breath with a tint of rainbow.

Metaphor A gun fire shooting into the dark night sky.

Metaphor It booms into the night leaving little trails of sparks.

Yesterday we did a actvity about similes and metaphors so what we did was we had to get an image and then write 2 similes and 2 metaphors for it. At the end when everyone was finished we went around the classroom and said each others. Then everyone one else had to guess it.
