ReplyDeleteHi Olivia
Thank you for sharing this fact file on Amanda Slade, New Zealander Paralympian. I had never heard of Boccia. You motivated me to go and do my own research on our New Zealand Paralympic team. I learnt that Amanda Slade was also at the Beijing Paralympic Games and 3 other International Competitions.
Take care
From Ange
Kia ora Olivia, Amanda Slade was a great choice of paralympian to learn more about. Boccia is an interesting sport to watch - have you ever seen it? Maybe some more details about her past achievements would have been interesting. Keep up the great work. - Mrs Hobbs
ReplyDeleteKia ora Olivia,
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous DLO, ka pai! I love how visually appealing this is for your reader.
What is Boccia? How long has she been doing this? It would be great to know more about Amanda Slade. As you are working towards being a proficient learner, it is important you remember to further your research to deepen your learning.
Remember, the trick for when to use an instead of a is if it is followed with a vowel, for example an apple, an excellent, an ant etc.
Keep up the great work, Olivia!
Miss Rogers :)
