Anne Frank

 For reading we do it collabroitively through out the syndicate and we started reading last week. I am in a group called kereu which is a bird. For our reading this week we are reading about Anne Frank. We basically had to read a text about her and what happened Sunday afternoon, also how she hid away.In my slide show it tells you some facts and other things about her. I really enjoyed reading about Anne Frank it is very interesting. 

The Wayfinder

Our Story Telling for this term is The wayfinder it is about a boy called Manu, his brother, his father and his tribe. His island gets to small and they have to sail in the ocean to find a new one, but he starts to run out of food and water. This is my characterisation of Manu that my friend Caitlin drew. This is some of the details that I gave her  Blue eyes, tan skin, scar on the right side of his face, shorts, muscular arms and lots of other descriptive words. I think she did a great job and I think it's  fabulous!.  

We had lots of fun making this I also made one for my friend too and this is what it looked like. 

These are some of the descriptive words my friend gave me 

• Giant bushy eyebrows
• Big ears
• Red and black spiky hair
• Big scar
• Dirty knees
• Muscular arms

What is a rainforest?

 This is my first week of doing reading and I am in a group called Kereru. For our first activity this week and some of last week we had to read a book about What are Rainforest?. Then we had to write 2 paragraphs about what we just read and then we had to make it look pretty and add pictures. So I decided to do it on a google drawing.

My Split Face Portrait

 Kia Ora in the first week of our new class we started our Split Face Portraits. So what we had to do is on 1 side we shaded and blended with pencil and then on the other side we had to do our hobbies and what we like to do, or even what our favourite food is. Up the top of my ocean (hair) I put a netball hoop and a netball ball because my favourite sport is Netball. I did in a love heart my family because I love my family and I also did animals.

For this activity I got a kit and I had to make a superpower out of the things in the kit and this is what I came up with. Hope you like it 

Google Art Colouring Book

 

Today we had Manaiakalanai and we got introduced to a new thing called Art Colouring Book and it is so fun to use. In this blog post we had to do a drawing and then find out the artist and the piece of art, and why we chose a different colour if we did. I hope you like my blog post.

I used to be....

 Yesterday we created our own poem on google docs but at the end I did it on a google drawings. What we did the poem on was basically what we used to be or what we did when we were younger compared to now. Hopefully you enjoy my blog post.
