Tonight I decided to make dinner so I put some pasta in a pot, cooked up some sausage, poured some tomatoes in, and then cooked some garlic bread, sprinkled a little cheese. Then it turned out like this. It was very yummy.

Writing
Story starter!
Toby poked his large, shaggy head out of his front door and sniffed. He loved the smell of the forest, especially first thing in the morning. He could almost taste the fresh, leafy goodness on his slobbering tongue as he dangled it out of his yawning mouth.
He could hear a rustling noise coming from nearby; one of the others was awake. You see, Toby wasn’t the only dog that lived in the forest…but how did they all get there. Three families were just having a normal lunch until their dogs got spooked and ran off far into the forest and never returned. But they have just been living their life.
I wonder what they do in the day. Well I think they find sticks and just play with it and explore.
But one day out of the blue another dog turned up and just ended up living there. The dog’s big kennel was big enough for another dog.So that dog just lived in there so I think they are ok.
Sick sentence
Normal: The tree was big. It was covered in moss.
There were leaves on the ground.
What I changed it into:
The big tree was enormous. It was covered in green sticky moss.
There were colourful leaves on the hard ground.
Question time!
Why does Toby live at the foot of a tree? Because he needed shelter
Why do they live in a forest? Because they ran away from there home
Who else lives there with him? 4 other dogs
What do you think it’s like living in a forest? Cool but cold
What do these dogs get up to? They play around with sticks and explore

Our class treaty
Our class treaty covers our four school values.
The four values are Care, Share, Learn and Grow.
Care is red, Share is blue, Learn is green and Grow is yellow.
You all at year 1 get a house colour for the whole time you are here but it
stays the same.
stays the same.
We sometimes have a house colour afternoon where you wear your house
colour top and do activities with your house group, it is fun.
